Estimating Individual Influences of Behavioral Intentions: An Application of Random-Effects Modeling to the Theory of Reasoned Action.
Hedeker, Donald; And Others
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, v64 n1 p109-20 Feb 1996
Methods are proposed and described for estimating the degree to which relations among variables vary at the individual level. As an example, M. Fishbein and I. Ajzen's theory of reasoned action is examined. This article illustrates the use of empirical Bayes methods based on a random-effects regression model to estimate individual influences discussed in Fishbein and Ajzen's theory. (KW)
