This is the sixth issue of Social Sciences in Forestry which provides a current annotated bibliographic listing of references related to four major areas of forestry. The main categories include: (1) applications to forestry at large (containing citings on resources, history, legislation, economics, education, research, technology, and environmental concerns); (2) applications to forest management (with references to multiple use management, ownership of public lands, labor, and protection); (3) production of forest goods and services (addressing areas such as outdoor recreation, wilderness, range, and watershed management, urban forestry, wildlife and fish, and wood production); and (4) applications to forest industries (focusing on wood-using and other forest industries, marketing and trade, and transportation).
