Brewer, Carol S.; Feeley, Thomas Hugh; Servoss, Timothy J.
Nursing Outlook, v51 n5 p220-26 Sep-Oct 2003
Data from the National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses for 1,928 nurses in New York State showed they were predominantly white females in their 40s. Minority nurses were underrepresented. Fewer were working than in 1996, especially in hospitals; 65% were satisfied with their jobs, somewhat less than national samples. (Contains 37 references.) (SK)
