This activity guide for foods and nutrition education at the primary level is divided into two sections: lesson plans and resource materials. Five concepts are outlined in the lesson plan: food choices, factors influencing choices, consumer competencies, food related careers, and food protection. Each lesson plan provides information on objectives, learning experiences, resource materials, and extension areas. The appendices provide examples of the resource materials mentioned in the lesson plans. (DS)
