"Research Highlights" is an annual publication documenting developments in the Australian Council for Educational Research's (ACER's) research programs for the previous year. The 2003 edition highlights research on the following themes: (1) Australian students excel in international study; (2) Assessing the moral and ethical outcomes of schooling; (3) Early literacy and numeracy achievement influences ENTER scores; (4) Advancing literacy learning; (5) Expansion in school-industry programs; (6) Reforming Cambodia's examination system; (7) Extending access to research information; (8) Investigating the links between teacher professional development and student learning outcomes; and (9) Testing overseas candidates.
