The Current State and Developments in Gerontology in European Higher Education.
Meyer, Martha
Educational Gerontology, v29 n1 p55-69 Jan 2003
In Europe, 47 gerontology programs offer academic degrees and 11 offer postvocational certificates. Diversity of terminology and qualifications suggests a need for coordination. Coursework must account for different countries' social structures, aging policies, and cultural conditions. (SK)
