Ethical dilemmas faced by many academicians in the course of their work activities and role demands are described in eight articles and 24 case illustrations. Other cases concern: student-faculty relations, value conflicts among faculty, using graduate students to grade advanced undergraduates' projects, student cheating on tests, grading athletes, disclosure of confidential information obtained in research, the right of administrators to influence faculty conduct in scholarly inquiry, writing multiple papers for publication from one database, college policy concerning faculty consulting work, promotion decisions, the tenure process, sexual harassment, and external teaching.
