Primary Nocturnal Enuresis: A Structural and Strategic Family Systems Approach.
Fletcher, Teresa B.
Journal of Mental Health Counseling, v22 n1 p32-44 Jan 2000
Exploration of the literature regarding primary nocturnal enuresis suggests there are various causes including genetic, biological, physiological, and psychological explanations. Treatments typically consist of medication and behavioral intervention. However, it was believed that this enuretic case was caused by psychological trauma. A series of structural and strategic intervention contributed to the cessation of bedwetting. (Author/MKA)
