Guidelines for using videotaped feedback are as follows: (1) provide written models of skill performance; (2) create trust; (3) use multiple sessions; (4) do not excuse trainees who are nervous or embarrassed; (5) do not give feedback in a group; (6) do not let trainees evaluate themselves; and (7) combine video with other techniques.
