An educational program draws together students from several secondary schools in one region in a labor practicum which combines training shops, classroom work, and laboratory experience. Examples are presented of schools throughout the USSR which are training pupils to be computer and machine operators, construction workers, cooks, automotive mechanics, and electricians. (Author/DB)
