Lim, Vivien K. G.; Loo, Geok Leng
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v63 n1 p86-98 Aug 2003
Structural equation modeling results from data on 178 undergraduates and their parents in Singapore indicated that paternal job insecurity was associated positively and maternal job insecurity negatively with authoritarian parenting. Mothers' authoritarian parenting was related to young adults' self-efficacy. Self-efficacy was positively associated with work attitudes. (Contains 24 references.) (SK)
