As the basis of a society undergoes a fundamental change, such as progression from the industrial age to the knowledge/information age, the massive change affects every aspect of life. Change causes stress in individuals that often manifest itself as anxiety. Using an economic model of the endogenous growth, which includes technology as input, this paper looks at Mobile Computer Anxiety (MCA) aspects of knowledge workers in the knowledge society. The laborer of the knowledge/information society is the knowledge worker. To function effectively within an organization the knowledge worker must collaborate, often using mobile computer devices to communicate. The quantitative correlational study was conducted to determine whether the biases of the industrial age influence the modern knowledge worker with respect to MCA. A 0.05 Confidence level where any p< 0.05 is the criteria for acceptance of the null hypotheses as it relates to each question. The result of the study showed by using a multiple regression analysis that MCA could not predict income (p = 0.888), but could predict age (p = 0.004). The remaining results used a logistic regression showing that MCA could differentiate for gender (p = 0.025) between male and female, but could not differentiate minority-status (p = 0.426) between non-minority and minority.
