Differences in Rates of Return by Type of Education.
Groot, Wim
Education Economics, v2 n2 p209-14 1994
Analyzes the wage effects of different types of education in The Netherlands, using a generalized version of the dummy endogenous variable model and distinguishing among seven types of education: general, agricultural, technical, medical, teacher, economic/administrative, and other education. Findings show that technical education yields lower rates of return than general education. The opposite is true for the United States. (21 references) (MLH)
