Investigated the knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs that minority preservice teachers brought to their classrooms by examining how an urban teacher education program that addressed diversity issues influenced their professional development. Case studies of two minority preservice teachers noted distinct differences between them in their approaches to teaching, classroom management, and student involvement. (SM)
