The final report of the project on community-based recreation for the handicapped details training activities, materials and evaluation findings. A chart lists approximately 40 primary training activities with information on date and location, faculty resource person, number attending, number of requests, and number of evaluations. The primary materials produced by the project are summarized and distribution procedures reviewed. The evaluation section includes mean ratings for 13 criteria at 26 institutes, and general comments from participants. Five conclusions and recommendations are presented, including the existence of such new models for recreation services as consumer, advocate, commercial, and creative and performing arts models. (CL)
