The purpose of this study is to introduce a model system for the continuous retrieval, storage, and dissemination of relevant clinical information that has proven to be an effective resource of real-life data. Patients with Crohn's disease from a geographic area served as the population base for 2 groups of physicians, one group practicing in the community, the other in the regional teaching center.
