Wilkinson, Kelly L.; Hemby, K. Virginia
Information Technology, Learning, and Performance Journal, v18 n2 p13-23 Fall 2000
A survey of 183 members of the Association for Business Communication and 33 members of the Organizational Systems Research Association found that, although virtual conferences reduce costs, professional isolation and lack of human contact are disadvantages. They should supplement but not replace traditional conferences. (Contains 18 references.) (JOW)
