This article presents summaries of three recent crisis management publications: (1) "School Violence: Associations With Control, Security/Enforcement, Educational/Therapeutic Approaches, and Demographic Factors," reviewed by Ashlee Barton; (2) "The Relationship Between Cognitive Coping Styles and PTSD in Survivors of Traffic Accidents," summarized by Jennifer DeFago; and (3) "Recommendations for Disaster Mental Health Research," reviewed by Melissa Allen Heath. The first article summarized examines the association between different violence reduction/prevention programs and school crime and disruption. The second article summarized examines factors that impact the severity of children's posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) reactions following traffic accidents. The final article offers recommendations for disaster mental health research.
