What if you had spent most of your career thinking that ITEA had been running too far out in front of its primary constituency, only in recent years to decide that you now feel the opposite may be true? Well, as the author enters his Presidency that's his current thinking, and he would like to reflect a little bit about how his change of heart came to pass along with a few key items he would like to work on during this term of office. In this article, the author presents his message with more questions than answers. He also describes issues which are worthy of considerable debate and discussion, and some, such as a name change, would require modifications to the association by-laws that could only be changed by a vote of the membership in order to come to fruition.
