The Effects of Touch on Depressed and Vocationally Undecided Clients.

Assessed the effects of a counselor's touch on depressed or vocationally undecided female students (N=40). Results showed no significant differences between the touched or untouched groups in counselor judgments or requests for a second interview. The vocationally undecided subjects were more comfortable with the touch than depressed subjects. (JAC)
