The Measurements for Team Functioning (MTF) database contains a series of student academic performance measurements obtained at a national university in Taiwan. The measurements are acquired from unit tests and homework tests performed during a core mechanical engineering course, and provide an objective means of assessing the functioning of cooperative learning teams and the fit of each member within the team. The database currently includes three datasets, where each dataset contains the performance measurements obtained over an 18-week semester. The performance measurements within the database provide valuable insights into the team dynamics within a cooperative learning environment. The features, results, limitations and future development of the database are discussed.
