Customer Service: What I Learned When I Bought My New Computer
Neugebauer, Roger
Exchange: The Early Childhood Leaders' Magazine Since 1978, n185 p89-90 Jan-Feb 2009
In this article, the author relates that similar to the time he bought his new computer, he had the opportunity to experience poor customer service when he and his wife signed their child up for a preschool program. They learned that the staff at the preschool didn't want parents looking over their shoulders and questioning their techniques. He shares how they felt disrespected. He contends that directors, teachers, family child care providers should not give the parents the impression that they view their perspectives as unimportant.
