Communication Across Cultures: Classroom Dilemmas from a Global Perspective.
Middleton, Karen L.; Rodgers, Jacci L.
Journal of Teaching in International Business, v11 n2 p21-37 1999
Examined whether formal intervention would alleviate graduate business administration students' subjective choice strategies when choosing group members. Students in the study represented five racioethnic identity groups. Although intervention showed some effectiveness, the overall response of Caucasian subjects was parochial, suggesting the importance of getting U.S. students to communicate across international cultures.
