Designed as a forum for the creative photographer who can produce work of an outstanding character, this 18th edition of the annual presents over 160 photographs whose themes range from advertising and industrial pictures, through unusual pictorial solutions in fashion photography, to experimental work, novel nude studies, and dramatic landscapes. More than one-third of the pictures are in color, and those photographs which are in color demonstrate the independent function and techniques appropriate to the medium. The photographs are followed by a section on the photographers and their pictures which offers the title and a brief description of each work. (SH)
