The easy-to-make, easy-to-read mini-books are designed to build children's confidence as readers and help them gain fluency. The mini-books presented in the book are organized around popular elementary themes (All about Me, Animal Friends, Five Senses Fun, All through the Year, and Let's Get Cooking). The mini-books all include repetitive and often rhyming language, and follow predictable patterns.
