Effects of Self-Monitoring and Contingent Reinforcement on On-Task Behavior and Academic Productivity of Learning-Disabled Students: A Social Validation Study.
Maag, John W.; And Others
Psychology in the Schools, v29 n2 p157-72 Apr 1992
Investigated social validity of behavior change produced by self-monitoring and contingent reinforcement upon on-task behavior and academic productivity of six learning-disabled elementary school students using single-case, multiple-treatment design. On-task behavior and academic productivity improved under both interventions, with improvements commensurate to levels of on-task behavior and academic productivity exhibited by subjects' nonhandicapped peers.
