Shamir, Boaz; Drory, Amos
Criminal Justice and Behavior, v9 n1 p79-99 Mar 1982
Studied sources of occupational stress in the prison officer's job and investigated their relationships with tedium (defined as a general experience of physical, emotional, and attitudinal exhaustion). Found the variables making the largest unique contributions to the variance in tedium are role overload, management support, and societal support. (Author)
