Water Chemistry Laboratory Manual.
Jenkins, David; And Others
This manual of laboratory experiments in water chemistry serves a dual function of illustrating fundamental chemical principles of dilute aqueous systems and of providing the student with some familiarity with the chemical measurements commonly used in water and wastewater analysis. Experiments are grouped in categories on the basis of similar general chemical principles such as acid-base reactions, precipitation, and redox equilibria. The general concepts of gravimetry, spectroscopy, conductivity, and kinetic and equilibrium phenomena are also covered. In each category of experiments techniques commonly used in water and wastewater analysis are included. (CS)
