Phase I of this project for the development of educational materials to teach the use of the computer (1) as an aid to management and decision making, or (2) as an instructional tool, included expansion of background technical reports, completion of computer programs, printing of field test versions of materials, commercial publisher interaction, and a market survey. Despite the existence of sizeable potential markets, lack of commercial interest in publication necessitated an analysis of alternative publication possibilities and a selection of a regional R & D laboratory as publisher. Appendix A contains the working marketing plan for the education materials dealing with the computer as an instructional resource. Appendix B contains the analysis of market survey results. (STS)
