Teachers' Perception Levels of Activities Directed towards Professional Progress

This research tries to bring up teachers' opinions about Professional progress. This research aims at revealing the problems about how the teachers perceive Professional progress activities corrected with the opinions of teachers who work at primary schools. This research is designed with the model of survey is realized on 108 teachers who Works at primary school in city center of Kutahya. The survey that is developed by the researcher is used as a data collector in this research. As a result of the research, it is determined that teachers' professional degree is raising while their velocity of professional progress is diminishing, and the new teachers think that kind of activities are loss of time. Moreover, 48.1% of teachers have limited their professional progress who has taken part in the survey, implied that professional progress needs to be planned at the level of institutional and aimed at practising and well-qualified.
