This two-day institute examines the basic concepts of effective classroom management techniques as well as the use of effective instructional strategies for all students that will help paraeducators to support effective learning and teaching environment. This module addresses two goals: (1) to provide participants with an awareness of basic classroom management strategies that help maintain a learner-centered and supportive classroom environment; and (2) to develop and understand paraeducators' roles in assisting teachers in the instructional process through examining their responsibilities as members of the instructional team.
