Internet-Related Problems Coming to the Attention of School Social Workers
Wells, Melissa
Children & Schools, v28 n4 p237-242 2006
The author provides a preliminary assessment of the extent to which a sample of 264 school social workers are aware of the Internet-related problems children are experiencing and proposes ways in which Internet-related problems could affect youths' social and academic competence and performance in a school setting. The findings have implications for school social workers interested in more intentionally assessing the extent to which Internet-related problems may be contributing to the issues children face.
