Much of what we know about the causes and prevention of school bullying is based on research with elementary school-aged children. Few studies have captured adolescents' own views about bullying in school and in cyberspace, even though understanding youth perspectives is a critical aspect of prevention programming. Based on focus groups with middle and high school students, this article explores the youth perspective and provides implications for prevention. (Contains 1 table and 1 footnote.)
