Reported are the results of a national survey conducted by the American Association of School Administrators to determine energy consumption in the nation's schools for the 1977-78 school year. Usable responses were received from 30% of the sample. Data indicate that, while energy consumption over a five-year period had been reduced, there is ample room for further conservation efforts. (PB)
