Current brain researchers encourage educators to provide students with opportunities that allow them to test the knowledge they have gained and transfer it to real life settings. The physical education environment is ideal for creating opportunities that encourage new skill activities to take place outside the classroom. Integrating field trips into the physical education curriculum provides authentic application of sport skills. It is easy to demonstrate vision in the curriculum. In this article, the author provides tips to make a field trip easy to organize and result in a peak experience.
