This issue contains eight articles that represent information on a variety of highly specialized topics involving communicative sciences. Williams), which details the importance of matching the specific technique to the individual needs of the patient; (4) "A Case Example of a Bilingual Evaluation: A Tutorial" (Alejandro Brice and Celeste Roseberry-McKibbin), which presents a case study and details the necessary components of a comprehensive assessment; (5) "Voice and Swallowing Considerations after Laryngotracheal Reconstruction in Children" (William R. Spencer and Gary D. Josephson), which discusses the various surgical approaches to subglottic stenosis and possible voice and swallowing alterations; (6) "Genetic Hearing Loss in Children" (Gary D. Josephson and William R. Spencer), which presents an approach to many of the congenital and genetic syndromes that may involve hearing sensitivity; (7) "Evoked Otoacoustic Emissions as an Objective Screener for Ototoxicity" (Brenda L. Lonsbury-Martin, Bradford D. Ress, and Glen K. Martin), which presents the results of research in utilizing evoked otoacoustic emissions as an objective and highly sensitive indicator of damage from ototoxic drugs; and (8) "The Near-Total Laryngectomy and the Role of the Speech-Language Pathologist" (Lisa M.
