This Cooperative Extension Service publication from Mississippi State University is a training guide for commercial applicators. Weed control, vertebrate pest control, and environmental considerations and restrictions are the three major parts of the document. The weed control section discusses non-pesticide, mechanical, and biological control as well as weed control in static water, large impoundments, flowing water, and limited-flow water ways. Both fish and mammal control practices are presented in the vertebrate pest control section. In the final section, application rates, state and federal regulations, units and conversion equivalents, and herbicide application formulas are presented.
