Developing secure attachments with babies gives them a very special gift--the foundation for good infant mental health! In this article, the author discusses how to develop secure attachments with babies. Babies who are in the care of others during the day often suffer from separations from their special adults. Thirteen "tips" to ensure that babies will develop secure attachments to each teacher and to lessen worries about daily separation are presented. (Contains a list of 4 resources.)
