As part of a continuing survey of student population characteristics at the Metropolitan Community Colleges, this report presents questionnaire responses of 14,630 regular credit enrollment students for fall 1976. Twenty-eight tables organize information by campus in terms of: male and female students by part- or full-time status; enrollment distribution; class level status; ethnic origin; student ages; marital status; father's occupation; parental education; student financial status; student employment status; annual family income; commuting distance from college and mode of transportation; type of residence maintained by students; high school grade point average and class rank; reasons for pursuing a college education and for selecting a community college; student career and degree objectives; future enrollment plans; reasons for not returning to district community colleges; student transfer objectives; how students found out about the community colleges; and persons influential in decisions to enroll.
