Trade Related Reading Packets for Disabled Readers.

Six trade-related reading packets for disabled readers are provided for these trades: assemblers, baking, building maintenance, data entry, interior landscaping, and warehousing. Each packet stresses from 9 to 14 skills. Those skills common to most packets include context clues, fact or opinion, details, following directions, main idea, vocabulary, and reading comprehension of representative diagrams, charts, signs, labels, directions, or other trade-related material. Each packet contains a vocabulary list, activities (word puzzles, fill in the blanks, matching, short answer, sequencing, multiple choice, true/false), and answer keys. (YLB)
