Godinez, Eileen U.
ProQuest LLC, D.M. Dissertation, University of Phoenix
The purpose of this qualitative, correlational study was to determine if a relationship existed between employee value for learning, supervisor support for training, education, and leader development, perceived access to learning opportunities, demographic characteristics, and pursuit of lifelong learning. A researcher-generated survey was used to measure the relationships between the variables. The population for the study was Department of the Army employees working for Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison, Hawaii. Significant correlations were found to exist between value for learning, supervisor support for training, education, and leader development, perceived access to learning opportunities, demographic characteristics, and pursuit of lifelong learning.
