The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City has studied the economics of the U.S.'s urban communities for approximately a decade. The findings of the study reveal that inner cities have economic potential that universities can utilize with minor adjustments in purchasing, hiring, delivering technical expertise, and investment patterns.
