Conditional Probabilities in the Diagnosis of Depressive and Anxiety Disorders in Children.
Laurent, Jeff; And Others
School Psychology Review, v22 n1 p98-114 1993
Determined most efficient inclusion and exclusion criteria for differential diagnosis of depression and anxiety in children. Results from fourth through seventh graders indicated that four symptoms served as efficient inclusion and exclusion criteria for depressive disorders: feeling unloved, anhedonia, excessive guilt, and depressed mood. Symptoms describing worries served as most efficient inclusion criteria for anxiety disorders. (Author/NB)
