Addresses need for unified theoretical model of sexually aggressive behavior against adult females by integrating elements of existing models into quadripartite model which accounts for heterogeneity of sexual aggressors by prominence of potential etiological factors. Model components (physiological sexual arousal, cognitions justifying sexual aggression, affective dyscontrol, personality problems) function as motivational precursors that increase probability of sexual aggression.
