Discusses need for development of a theory of affirmative action in higher education. Six hypotheses are given to develop the theory, which should (1) embrace a concept of multi-intelligence; (2) utilize social technologies for change; (3) entail a group solution approach; and (4) be able to generate models for testing, among other characteristics.
