Smith, Sandy; Mullis, Fran; Kern, Roy M.; Brack, Greg
Family Journal: Counseling and Therapy for Couples and Families, v7 n2 p135-47 Apr 1999
Investigates perceived parental rejection, family cohesion and adaptability, and levels of trait anger and anxiety in adolescents and their relationship to the etiology of aggression in adolescents who have been adjudicated for assaultive crimes. Study supports Adler's aggression theory, which established that aggression might begin with feelings of inferiority or anxiety within the family. (Author/GCP)
