Licensure requirements are also described, and the forms for obtaining a license and first registration as a certified public accountant are provided. The booklet is divided into the following sections: professional regulation in New York State, licensure requirements, licensure forms, education law, Commissioner's regulations, rules of the Board of Regents, Board's policy state on non-public experience, and a listing of accounting programs registered by the Department as qualifying for admission to the licensing examination.
