Some Internet-Based Strategies that Help Solve the Problem of Teaching Large Groups of Engineering Students
Mompo, Rafael; Redoli, Judith
Innovations in Education and Teaching International, v47 n1 p95-102 Feb 2010
With this article, we wish to transmit some key factors of success that we have used personally when faced with the structuring of a teaching programme based on e-learning. In particular, this paper reflects the experience of the authors in the usage of Internet tools in their teaching duties at university, in order to solve several problems that usually diminished learning quality. The most important difficulty was that class groups were very big (100). The key factor of success was to get students in the mood for collaborative learning, by using simple and regular Internet tools. (Contains 1 figure.)
