Water Pollution Control Training: The Educational Role of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Williams, Frederick D.
Presented are the results of a study to determine the perceived needs of environmental control education programs as seen by students, instructors, deans or program directors, and field-related employers in the field of water pollution control. Data were collected utilizing three approaches: survey instruments, information from Water Quality Instructors' Workshops, and on-site conference visitations to selected educational institutions. Perceived differences of the four groups to the needs of water pollution control training programs are detailed. Recommendations are included. (BT)
