International Journal of Leadership in Education, v16 n1 p94-105 2013
This paper studies the perceptions of university student representatives at the University of Granada (Spain). Knowing the main aspects in relation to their thoughts, feelings and developing these types of tasks, as well as analyzing the lack of training are the main purposes of this research. This study is part of a major international research project in which different foreign universities have participated (Portugal, the University of Sheffield, UK and the University of Bologna, Italy) along with other Spanish research groups (the University of Barcelona). Based on the results, this paper recommends that future work developing the most important aspects should pay attention to internal organization in the university context and promote student leadership.
